Fitness Influencer's Death After Weight Gain Challenge

A Russian fitness influencer, Dmitry Noyanzin, died after conducting a dangerous experiment for his followers. The challenge was to gain a large amount of weight in a short period and then lose it. Noyanzin consumed up to 10,000 calories daily, mainly from fast food. Health experts warned that such a diet could lead to heart palpitations, indigestion, dehydration, sharp insulin fluctuations, and even acute pancreatitis. By November 18, he had gained 13 kg, reaching 105 kg. Local media reported he developed heart failure. The day before his death, he canceled training sessions, telling friends he felt unwell and planned to see a doctor, but he died in his sleep shortly after. Experts stated that his case is a lesson to be considered when undertaking diets or attempting rapid weight gain.
