Specialists from the research center of "Kaspersky" have discovered a new malicious object named "Trojan-con." This virus is designed for stealing data from users. According to researchers, "Trojan-con" infiltrates the victim's system through malicious websites.
This malicious object is capable of automatically collecting information about the victim, including data about the browser, applications installed on the computer, and also accessing files and documents. Moreover, "Trojan-con" can carry out attacks on users' bank accounts.
One of the main ways a computer can be infected is through the victim navigating to a compromised website. According to the researchers, the process of infection happens unnoticed for the user. As a result, attackers gain access to confidential data and can use it for their purposes.
Additionally, specialists emphasized that "Trojan-con" can penetrate protected areas of the system, where the most valuable data for the user is stored. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to be extremely careful when visiting suspicious sites and to keep an eye out for security updates for the computer.
