Lomography Launches New Instant Camera

Lomography has introduced a new instant camera, which is advertised as "the best instant camera in the world" thanks to the use of multiple glass lens elements to achieve sharp images. The new Lomo'Instant Wide Glass instant camera comes in a body of silver and brown color with a new f/8 object lens at 90 mm, made from multiple glass instead of plastic, which makes it the sharpest instant camera in the world. Lomography notes that the aperture and shutter speed (from 1/125 to 8 seconds) are automatically set, ensuring correct exposure for both bright and dark shots. Manual mode allows for long exposure up to 30 seconds, as well as a focusing distance of up to 30 cm. The camera has the ability to select one of four focus zones, but the new instant camera lacks automatic focusing. The new instant camera features functions rarely found in other instant cameras, such as a USB port for external flash and the ability to adjust the color of the flash using a color filter. The camera is priced at 279 euros. The object lens cap also serves as a remote control, and Lomography uses a CR2025 battery and a transmitter, while the camera itself operates on four AA batteries.
