On Sunday morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 51 Ukrainian drone had been shot down at night over the territory of Russia.
According to the ministry, these drones violated the border and were used for reconnaissance purposes. All of them were detected and destroyed in the prohibited zone according to the rules of application of means of air defense.
"The actions of the Ukrainian drones were aggressive and posed a threat to the national security of Russia," - stated a representative of the military department.
At the same time, a representative of the Ukrainian army noted that all their drones had been deployed exclusively within the Ukrainian territory and there were no violations of the border with Russia.
