On Monday, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that military units of the Armed Forces destroyed 59 unmanned aerial vehicles over the country. According to the words of the representative of the military department, this occurred within the framework of training exercises by the Armed Forces.
It should be noted that these exercises were the largest in recent years. Russian military successfully repelled massed attacks of unmanned aerial vehicles of the opponent, demonstrating high combat readiness and effectiveness of the Armed Forces.
"In the course of exercises in the eastern territory of our country, units of the Armed Forces addressed issues of repelling massed strikes of unmanned aerial vehicles, and this was carried out at a high level," - quoted the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
As a result of such large-scale exercises conducted under conditions of maximum proximity to combat scenarios, Russia confirmed the readiness of its armed forces to ensure the safety of airspace and prevent unnecessary incidents.
