Russia demands that European countries, which accused it of poisoning opposition figure Alexey Navalny, provide specific evidence to support their allegations. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at a press conference on Wednesday. Earlier, the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands in a joint statement said that analysis of samples from Navalny's body 'conclusively confirmed' the presence of the toxic substance ipetide, found in arrow poison dart frogs. This substance is native to South America and is not naturally found in Russia. The participating countries stated that Moscow has 'the means, motive, and opportunity' to poison the politician. Zakharova noted: 'All accusations against Russia'.
