Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of breaching a short-term ceasefire during Easter, declared by the Russian president. Both sides were caught in the center of the dispute due to the violations of the ceasefire, which was supposed to be in effect for several days.
Official representatives of Russia and Ukraine commented on the situation, expressing allegations against each other. Both countries were subjected to mutual accusations of violating the ceasefire and continuing military actions in eastern Ukraine.
"We see that the ceasefire regime is being violated, Ukrainian forces are carrying out shelling of our positions," said a representative of Russia.
"Russia continues to violate international law, using fire against Ukrainian armed forces," noted a representative of Ukraine.
