Ivan and Ekaterina Vlasov became the first in the world to visit 17 countries in one day. Among the countries they visited are those in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. According to the couple, they aimed to establish this record from the moment they started dating in 2012.
Their adventures included days when they had to cross the border twice and even three times in the course of a few minutes. Their journey started in Vladivostok and ended in Kaliningrad. The couple had to strictly follow a set itinerary and overcome numerous obstacles to achieve success.
Ekaterina Vlasova shared: “We are very proud of our achievement. It wasn’t easy, but we managed because we knew we could handle it. We did this together, as a team.” The couple has submitted their application for entry into the Guinness World Records and is awaiting official confirmation.
