The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has called on Ukrainian troops fighting in the Kursk region to lay down their arms.
Putin stated: "I urge everyone who is there to return to the leadership of the Unified Russia President and to the leadership of the Unified Russia staff with the proposal on certain issues. I am confident that this is possible and even desirable for achieving the result."
