Russia announced on Monday the achievement of an agreement with Ukraine on the evacuation of civilians from the Russian-controlled area of Kursk.
During the negotiations, both parties agreed on measures that allow for the safe and timely evacuation of civilians from the Kursk region. The statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense indicates that the organization of the evacuation will be conducted with all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the residents.
"We are confident that this agreement allows us to mitigate the threat to civilians in connection with military operations on the territory of the Kursk region and provides the necessary conditions for their evacuation," - emphasized in the statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
