
The Kremlin announced on Monday that it is still waiting for "signals" from the United States regarding a possible meeting.
President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted that Moscow is waiting for information from Washington on the date and time of the proposed summit between the leaders of the two countries. Peskov emphasized that the meeting needs to be thoroughly prepared in order to be effectively useful.
"We are still waiting for signals from the American side on the time and date so that we can start preparing for this summit," Peskov told journalists.
