A Russian military transport plane crashed in the Ivanovo region, located approximately 250 kilometers northeast of Moscow, killing all seven people on board, authorities have confirmed. The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement detailing the event: "Today, in the Ivanovo region, a military transport An-22 plane crashed during a test flight after undergoing maintenance. The plane fell in an unpopulated area." According to Argentine News Agency, local emergency services confirmed to TASS that the An-22 was carrying seven people at the time of the impact. Subsequently, the Russian Investigative Committee confirmed the death of the entire crew and announced the opening of an investigation to determine the precise circumstances of the incident. Witnesses to the accident informed local media that the An-22 began to disintegrate in mid-flight. Wreckage from the aircraft fell in the Uvodsky Reserve.
