North Korean Foreign Minister Arrives in Moscow

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced amid the arrival of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Korea Choe Son Hu in Moscow for "strategic" negotiations.

The North Korean chief diplomat was met at Yaroslavsky railway station in Moscow among representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The negotiations with Choe are scheduled for Thursday. This meeting marks Choe's first visit to Russia since assuming office in 2020.

"We have no intention of abandoning the dialogue at the ambassadorial level with any side. Therefore, Moscow and Pyongyang have already agreed to hold negotiations at the level of foreign policy departments. The topics and agenda of the meeting will not be disclosed," stated the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
