Moscow, May 16. The Kremlin said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered various options for mediating in the conflict with Iran, noting that these proposals are still on the table.
«Since the very beginning of this situation, and even before the start of the military phase, President Putin proposed numerous options for our good-faith mediation that could help reduce tensions. Many of these proposals remain on the table,» Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
He added: «Russia is ready to provide assistance to the best of its ability and will be happy to do so, but as you know, this requires understanding and agreements with many parties, so we must be patient».
