Governor of the Russian Oblast Belgorod Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that the territory adjacent to Ukraine was subjected to non-trivial attacks.
"We are aware of incidents that occurred at our border with Ukraine. Unknown individuals attempted to violate our state border," he noted.
According to him, incidents took place in the areas of the settlements of Gubkin and Valuyki. Authorities are conducting an investigation to identify the individuals and the motives of the offenders.
"We are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our citizens and protect the state border," the governor emphasized.
