According to the information from Russian agencies, the frigate VMF Russia, equipped with the latest hypersonic missiles, is conducting exercises in the English Channel and performing tasks in the Atlantic Ocean.
As part of the exercise, a group of ships from the VMF Russia, including the frigate with hypersonic missiles, is training in various tactical maneuvers, including air target interception and defense against anti-ship missiles.
Regarding the proposed mission of the frigate in the Atlantic Ocean, it is not reported, however, it is clarified that during the exercise, the tactical and technical characteristics of the missile were tested in field conditions.
"This is already the second time when a ship with such missiles performs tasks in conditions close to combat. We see the potential and effectiveness of this weapon during naval operations," noted the representative of the VMF Russia.
