On Friday, the TASSS agency cited a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Russia, which mentions that the Russian military shot down 83 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight.
A representative of the Ministry of Defense reported that all these drones were detected near the state border in eastern Ukraine.
"All Ukrainian Blas attempting to penetrate Russian airspace were detected and neutralized with the help of means to combat such objects," the statement said.
This event occurred against the backdrop of increasing tensions in the region, within the framework of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
