The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, announced on Tuesday about conducting new strategic nuclear exercises and stated that senior officials will oversee the procedure for launching the rocket. "Our task is to strengthen the potential of our country so that our partners understand this," Putin said at a meeting with the leadership of the military department.
Putin noted that such exercises are conducted regularly and they are not related to current geopolitical events. "This does not pertain to today's situation; this is part of the priority work plan. We just need to ensure the reliability of our nuclear arsenal," he added.
