On Thursday, the deputies of the State Duma of Russia jointly voted in favor of the approval of the "Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" with the DPRK.

Under this agreement, the parties are obliged to develop interactions in various areas: politics, economics, culture, and security. It is stated that the document is aimed at strengthening cooperation and trust between Russia and the DPRK.

One of the deputies noted the importance of this initiative: "This agreement reflects the commitment of both countries to deepen their relations and to continue partnership at all levels. We are convinced that cooperation between Russia and Korea will create a beneficial foundation for peaceful development in the region and will help strengthen stability in the world." It should be noted that the "Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" must be approved by the Federation Council for full entry into force.
