Furthermore, the leaders of BRICS emphasized the importance of strengthening international security and developing cooperation in this area.
The presidents of five countries - Brazil, Russia, India, China, and the Republic of South Africa - expressed readiness to expand cooperation in combating terrorism and exchanging information necessary to prevent possible attacks. The leaders also called for the world community to adopt collective approaches in the fight against financing terrorist groups and providing refuge to terrorists.
