Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, stated that the ministry was subjected to a massive hacker attack. "We faced an unprecedented volume of cyberattacks," noted Zakharova. "This was a massive event in scale, and we are taking all necessary measures to neutralize the threat." According to Zakharova, specialists are already working on restoring normal functionality of the system and identifying the source of the attack.
