The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, commented on statements made by the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden. Lavrov noted that such statements provoke dangers and carry risks for relations between Moscow and Washington.
"We are concerned that what is happening in American-Russian relations, especially in the context of the aforementioned Biden administration's statements, has some real dangers for the perspective of our relations," Lavrov emphasized.
The minister also reaffirmed that Russia is ready for dialogue with the United States on mutually acceptable terms, but he called for mutual respect and non-interference in sovereignty.
