Moscow, December 24. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Wednesday that it had foiled a sabotage and terrorist attack planned against critical infrastructure in the Tyumen region. According to the FSB, the suspect acted on orders from Ukrainian intelligence services and planned an attack on the dispatch station of a major oil pipeline operated by the Russian company Transneft. As reported by the Argentine News Agency, the individual attempted to extract components from a cache to assemble an improvised explosive device on Wednesday. When security personnel attempted to capture him, he offered armed resistance and was ultimately neutralized, the FSB stated.
