Putin Says No New Special Operation if West Respects Russia's Interests

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow is ready to halt military actions if its security is guaranteed. He dismissed accusations of planning attacks on other European countries as 'nonsense.'

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today that there will be no other 'special military operation' like the one in Ukraine if Western countries respect Russia's interests.

'We are ready to immediately cease military actions if Russia's security is guaranteed in the medium and long term,' he affirmed. 'There will be no operation if you respect us.'

'Will there be a new special military operation?' he was asked. 'We are willing to work with you,' Putin replied.

He insisted that Russia and Europe 'complete each other,' so they are destined to understand each other. 'On the condition that we respect each other,' he said.

Putin called the accusations that Russia plans to attack a European country after the war in Ukraine ends 'stupidity' and 'nonsense.' 'With the United Kingdom, with all of Europe, and with the United States, but on an equal footing,' he added, addressing the BBC correspondent.

'If you do not deceive us, as you did with the expansion of NATO to the East,' he said.
