Russia Accuses Zelensky of Threatening May 9 Celebrations

Russia accused the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky of threatening the security of the May 9 celebrations in memory of the Great Patriotic War.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zelensky issues threats against Russia, which may negatively indicate the conduct of ceremonies dedicated to the 76th anniversary of Victory.

"Zelensky, by all appearances, is again dependent on provocations that create a threat to the security of citizens of the Russian Federation," said a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

These statements were made after Zelensky declared that Ukraine is ready for a conflict with Russia and that the commemoration of Victory Day on the territory of the country may threaten the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
