The President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced the introduction of a one-week ceasefire, which begins today, Saturday, and will end next Monday.
Putin noted: "We hope that this radical step will help prevent unnecessary casualties and show a positive impact on the situation within the country."
During the established period, participating parties may act within the framework of self-defense, but are urged to refrain from active actions that could worsen the situation.
