Russian General Valery Gerasimov announced on Saturday that the country's army successfully conducted exercises that allowed them to test in action complexes of a new type. During the exercises, it was demonstrated that the created complexes 'provided a positive assessment of their combat capability and effectiveness.' Gerasimov also noted that it was shown 'high quality of interaction and coordination in the actions of subdivisions and military formations.'
'Exercises allowed to actively apply new armaments and military equipment, which made it possible to check them in real conditions of combat operations,' the general noted. At this moment, all new equipment and weapons went through testing at training grounds and polygons, and now they successfully proved themselves during the exercises.
'In this way, our army is ready to support Russia's security and protect the interests of our country in the world,' Gerasimov emphasized.
