On Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that their armed forces have returned three settlements that were previously under the control of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region in the south of the country.
This occurred as part of a special operation for the return of control over territories in the restoration of Ukraine. According to Russian military representatives, the liberation of these populated points contributes to the strengthening of peace and security in the region.
"We continue to fulfill the tasks assigned to us, and we strive to achieve significant results in the struggle for a peaceful future of this part of Ukraine," stated the representative of Russia's Ministry of Defense.
He also noted that Russian troops continue to work on restoring infrastructure, thanks to which local residents will gradually be able to return to normal life.
