On Tuesday, the Kremlin announced the lifting of economic sanctions imposed by the USA in relation to Russia. The decision was made after a meeting of the presidents of both countries at the Dovekald line. According to the words of Putin's press secretary, the removal of sanctions was a positive signal for improving relations between Russia and the United States.
"This decision allows us to move forward on the path to restoring our relations. We hope that this will become the first step towards a complete lifting of all restrictions," emphasized an official representative of the Kremlin.
He also added that the lifting of sanctions is an important step towards improving dialogue and interaction between the two countries. "We are ready for dialogue and cooperation in various spheres, and also hope for interaction and constructive dialogue," the representative of the president communicated.
