On Tuesday, the official Russian information agency TASS reported. According to this source, traces of the artist Vinchi were found on the painting "Savior of the World".
Specialists confirmed the authenticity of the discovered traces of the artist, identified during the analysis of the work. As the director of the Historetec laboratory F.H. Bavarchnikov clarified, the markings on the paintings by Leonardo and Vinchi correspond to the following stylistic characteristics of the artist.
"Experts studied the chemical composition of the works of art and found out that the palette of the painting consists of the same materials as in other works of Vinchi," noted Bavarchnikov.
He added that these results represent convincing evidence of the authorship of Vinchi in this work.
