In the middle of this week, Russia's Minister of Energy Sergey Eviliev stated to Interfax that Russia plans to increase its oil production next year. According to him, the total production may reach 560-570 million tons. This year, the plan is to produce 550 million tons. Additionally, the minister noted that Russia is ready to increase its gas production by 30-40 million tons. "Oil is a valuable resource, and its extraction should be sustainable," Eviliev emphasized. He also specified that the cost of the oil barrier this year amounts to about 40-45 thousand dollars.
