Russian authorities reported that firefighters extinguished a long-lasting fire at the Ufimskiy oil refinery in Ufa. The cause of the fire remains unclear, with no reported casualties. Russian authorities stated yesterday that the fire at the oil refinery "Yufimsky" in the city of Ufa was extinguished by rescuers after several hours of fighting. So far, no details have been reported about the victims or those affected, nor is the cause of the ignition clear. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan, where the plant is located, reported through the Telegram app that the fire was extinguished. Earlier statements mentioned that the fire started in the area of a waste disposal site; however, the official reason has not been clarified. Several Russian news channels on Telegram, including the channel "Shot Telegram," reported that the fire started after an explosion at the plant.
