The Ukrainian army reported on Wednesday that it struck infrastructure at the Russian oil refinery in Slavyansk, Krasnodar region, overnight. In a Telegram post, the command added that it detected explosions and a fire in the targeted area and is assessing the damage. Authorities in Russia's southern Krasnodar region also confirmed on Wednesday that debris from a Ukrainian drone briefly sparked a fire at processing equipment and a pipeline inside the oil refinery. No injuries were reported at the Slavyansk refinery, which has been repeatedly targeted by Kyiv since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
