The governor of the Bryansk region of Russia, Alexander Bogomaz, stated on Sunday that Ukrainian military forces shelled a factory in the area, leading to the destruction of a large part of it.
"This was a gross and unprovoked act of aggression that occurred on Sunday morning. I categorically condemn these actions and direct all efforts towards the restoration of the damaged factory," said the governor.
According to him, part of the building was damaged, and the equipment was destroyed.
"We call on the international community to take measures to prevent similar acts of aggression and to protect the peaceful population," Bogomaz emphasized.
