Victoria Lerman, a 32-year-old Russian influencer, was found unconscious in the bathtub by her fiancé, who alerted the authorities. According to the preliminary investigation, it seems that while preparing to take a bath, Victoria suffered burns when coming into contact with hot water and subsequently fainted under the scalding water, resulting in severe burns that led to her death.
"The death occurred as a result of exposure to high temperatures; no other visible bodily injuries were found," reported the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.
In the apartment she shared with her partner, authorities found narcotics and drugs, suggesting that both were using substances. Although her partner found her and alerted the authorities, he is being investigated as the main suspect in Victoria's death.
Victoria's family does not believe her partner's version and suspects him, especially due to his criminal record, as he served a 10-year sentence for unspecified offenses. Additionally, suspicion arose from the fact that he was not present at the time of the accident or at the young woman's wake, which took place a day before the date on which they were allegedly going to marry.
